Assisted reproductive technology (ART) is rarely used in patients with diabetes mellitus and infertility. It is well known that the hormonal changes associated with pregnancy in patients with diabetes can lead to fluctuating blood glucose levels which aggravates the prognosis for both mother and fetus significantly. So the problem of fluctuating blood glucose levels which influences on reproductive function becomes more important. The use of insulin pump therapy in women with diabetes leads to better pregnancy outcomes. A promising way to achieve pregnancy with the favorable outcome in patients with diabetes and infertility is the combined usage of ART and insulin pump therapy. This study aims to describe the clinical case of successful in vitro fertilization type 1 diabetes patient on insulin pump therapy.
