Abstract:

The use of hormonal releasing systems with parenteral introduction in women of reproductive age with diabetes mellitus type 1 is valuable because the optimal control of menstrual cycle, high acceptability and minimal influence on a carbohydrate metabolism. Тhe prolonged mode of application of "NovaRing" is simply and reduces probability of missing daily dose, therefore many women consider it more convenient, than oral contraceptives. This method allows to hide the use of contraception that can be attractive for some patients.
