Occupational cancer is considered to be one of the most complex problems in occupational diseases. The contribution of professional exposures into the cause of death from different locations of malignant neoplasms varies from 1% (prostate) to 25% (lung, nasal sinuses, etc.). According to the estimates of the International Labor Organization, cancers are the most common cause of death, which is associated with working conditions and far ahead of the statistics of deaths from industrial accidents and other occupational diseases. Almost one third of all work-related deaths are caused by cancer.
