Abstract:

The paper describes a rare case of solitary fibrous tumor of the pleura that was detected in a patient with breast cancer and that mimicked a metastatic lesion. Attention is drawn to the complexity of diagnosing a solitary focus in the lung in pretreated breast cancer patients during primary examination and to the need for a comprehensive study and morphological verification of the found mass to choose a treatment policy.
