The article is based on the results of symposium «Clinical guidelines. From development to implementation» that took place in Moscow on October 8, 2020. The authors summarized opinions of all participants. The most significant issues of development and implementation of clinical guidelines into clinical practice are highlighted. These are off-label use of drugs included into the guidelines, the description of concomitant therapy in clinical guidelines and its inclusion into payment system at the expense of compulsory health insurance system in oncology, rationale for the inclusion of certain diagnostic methods into clinical guidelines, medical care quality criteria and their role in quality control, etc. The authors proposed possible ways for solving the complex and normatively unsettled problems of clinical guidelines development and implementation. The issues of formation and practical application of medical care standards are discussed.
