Abstract Many pregnancy complications are associated with abnormalities in the hemostatic system: venous thromboembolic complications (VTE) and/or arterial thrombosis and placenta associated complications (fetal loss syndrome, pre-eclampsia, delayed growth of the fetus, premature detachment of the placenta). The limitation of remodeling and thrombus formation in the myometrial segments of the spiral arteries is considered as one of the links in the pathogenesis of the latter. The agreed consensus of experts on laboratory support of a physiologically proceeding pregnancy is presented, which should provide objective information by an obstetrician-gynecologist, but not be overly burdensome for the pregnant woman and the health care system as a whole. Labeled laboratory studies, informative in the presence of risk factors for placenta-associated complications. Considered options for laboratory studies on the basis of reference values and pathogenetic mechanisms of complications.
