Abstract:

Doctor’s interactions with the patient or their parents are an important part of effective treatment of atopic dermatitis in children. Parents of patients differ in different types of attitudes to danger. The study examined the options for parents ‘ attitude to the danger of 45 parents of children with atopic dermatitis. As diagnostic tools, the author’s questionnaires were used to identify the types of people’s response in situations of danger, sensitivity to threats. As a result of the study, it was found that the types of attitude to danger differ among parents of children with atopic dermatitis, depending on the gender of the parents. It was found that an adequate response to danger is typical for men (57%). Women tend to exaggerate the importance of danger, which indicates an increased sensitivity of women to security problems. The results obtained can be used in the process of organizing the treatment of children with atopic dermatitis, as well as in the development of communication technologies in the field of doctor-patient.
