Atopic dermatitis in children is characterized by a staged development, polymorphism of clinical signs and a persistent recurrent course. One of the main objectives of the treatment of atopic dermatitis is the prevention of relapse of the disease, which is achieved by a complex external proactive therapy. Purpose of study — to study the effectiveness of proactive maintenance therapy of atopic dermatitis in children in the inter-relapse period using 0.03% tacrolimus ointment and emollient cream with a high content of omega-polyunsaturated fatty acids. The study included 37 children with a diagnosis of atopic dermatitis in remission. In postacute period, children were prescribed complex external therapy with tacrolimus in the form of 0.03% ointment 2 times a week (to the area of favorite localization of morphological elements) and emollient cream daily for 6 months. A complex external proactive treatment using tacrolimus in the form of 0.03% ointment and emollient cream for 6 months in children with atopic dermatitis led to an improvement in DLQI and the degree of skin hydration, as confirmed by instrumental research.
