Modern scientific achievements, the results of clinical and experimental studies have identified new pathogenesis links as key in the development of atopic dermatitis (AtD), which determines the need to improve the methods of dermatosis treatment. Rational external treatment is of great importance for identifying skin manifestations and improving the psycho-emotional state of the patient. This article presents the results of a clinical study on the effectiveness of a new combined topical glucocorticosteroid in patients with AtD. Objective — the determination of the effectiveness and tolerability of a new 4-component drug for external use in the treatment of AtD. Materials and methods. Thirty adult AtD patients were enrolled in this study. All patients underwent clinical and laboratory examination, which included: analysis of anamnesis data, determination of the severity of AtD, microscopic and cultural studies of pathological material from the skin surface, determination of specific sensitization to enterotoxins of Staphylococcus aureus and registration of adverse events. Results. High contamination of the skin of AtD patients with fungal and bacterial biota was proven. High efficacy and safety of new 4-component drug for external use in the treatment of AtD. was shown: rapid relief of acute course of dermatosis, the formation of clinical remission in 70% of patients.
