Abstract:

The paper considers the etiopathogenesis, classification, clinical picture, and treatment of acne. It gives the data of investigating the clinical efficacy of Acnecutan used in the therapy of severe and conventional therapy-resistant forms of acne in women and men. Acnecutan used to treat grades 2 and 3 resistant forms of acne demonstrated a high efficacy and good tolerance profile; clinical remission was achieved in 100% of cases after 4-8-month treatment. Acnecutan is recommended for therapy for acne forms untreatable with other treatments.
