Abstract:

The problem with the early diagnosis of cutaneous melanoma remains very relevant so far. This ensures the need to improve a patient awareness system for cutaneous melanocytic neoplasms and primary care physicians' skills in this problem. In this connection, this study has been undertaken to assess early macroscopic diagnostic criteria for cutaneous melanoma and to estimate the possibilities of its detection in a dermatologist's practice during gross examination.
