Abstract:

The paper considers skin microbiocenosis in patients with allergic dermatoses, atopic dermatitis in particular, and a problem in the choice of topical drugs. The authors give the data of their investigation dealing with the use of the multicomponent glucocorticosteroid Pimafucort. The agent is shown to be highly effective in the empirical therapy of skin lesions that occur with obvious inflammation and are caused by mixed or unidentified flora. Its high safety makes Pimafucort the drug of active choice for the treatment of newborn infants and pregnant women and for application to thin skin areas and folds.
