Abstract:

The paper highlights the role of aromatized substances (fragrances) in the genesis of complex skin pathology, which determined the urgency of their safety system. Hydroperoxides resulting from autooxidation of volatile cyclic monoterpenes for fragrances are potent allergens. Free radical oxidation of monoterpenes to form free radicals is a provoking factor of fragrance dermatoses. The use of antioxidants promotes the environmental safety of perfumes and cosmetics.
