Abstract:

Aim — to present the first clinical experience of deployment of composite stented xenopericardial bioprosthesis Medinzh-Bio in aortic position. Material and methods. For the period since October till December 2016 ten patients underwent aortic valve replacement with Medinzh-Bio prosthesis. Mean age of patients was 66.7±3.4 years. Degenerative aortic valve disease was predominant. All patients underwent echocardiographic assessment of the aortic valve prosthesis and left ventricle prior to surgery and at discharge from the hospital (in 14 days after surgery on the average). Results. Control echocardiography in early postoperative period revealed satisfactory hemodynamic parameters on MedInzh-Bio valves.
