Aim - to analyze preoperative state, intraoperative features of tumor and clinical course in patients who were operated for cardiac tumor in E.E.Volosevich First City Clinical Hospital (Arkhangelsk). Mateial and methods. It was performed retrospective analysis of surgical treatment of 47 patients with cardiac tumors for the period 2000-2014. Myxoma was the most common tumor (89.4%) with predominant localization in left atrium. 36% of patients underwent heart valve surgery in addition to tumor resection. Results. Myxoma is the most frequent cardiac tumor according to histological data (89.4% of patients). This neoplasm is predominantly diagnosed in women (61.7%). Left atrium is the most common localization (78.7%). Significant reduction of LA dimension, AF incidence, mitral and tricuspid regurgitation was observed in early postoperative period.
