Abstract:

The results of simultaneous surgical treatment of 96 patients with coronary heart disease and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation are presented in the article. Radiofrequency ablation was performed in all patients during coronary artery bypass grafting. It was analyzed clinical efficiency of ablation, the results of invasive electrophysiological investigation, long-term rhythm monitoring by using of implantable devices (Reveal XT) and quality of patients' life. Follow-up period was 48 months. It is shown that in patients with ischemic heart disease and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation radiofrequency isolation of pulmonary veins conducted during coronary artery bypass grafting provides the preservation of sinus rhythm in long term in 82.4% of cases, radiofrequency modified surgery mini-maze - in 83.9%, anatomical ganglionic plexus ablation - in 74.2%.
