Abstract:

The goal of the study was to improve efficiency of treatment of patients with necrotizing pancreatitis by means of advance in diagnosis and choice of optimal surgical approach. 1002 patients with different forms of acute pancreatitis were examined from 2000 to 2011. Postoperative course after miniinvasive procedures in patients with edematous, sterile and infected pancreatitis is demonstrated as well as potentials of application of relaparoscopy and puncture of postoperative lesions. On the ground of analysis of unfavorable immediate postoperative course laboratory and instrumental markers of adverse outcomes of surgeries on pancreas are defined. It was concluded that designed algorithm of ultrasound quantitative evaluation of nature and site of inflammatory and destructive process in the pancreas enables to obtain accurate assessment of pancreatic destruction severity (in scores) which closely correlates with Balthazar-Ranson score.
