Abstract:

OBJECTIVE

To study the efficacy and safety of using Nise and Tolperisone in the treatment of patients with acute low back pain (ALBP).

MATERIAL AND METHODS

An open observational non-interventional study of the efficacy and safety of Nise (1 tablet of 100 mg in the morning and evening) in combination with the muscle relaxant Tolperisone for 14 days was conducted in patients with acute LBP. The efficacy and safety of using Nise and Tolperisone in patients with acute low back pain was analyzed using a visual analogue pain scale (VAS), the Roland—Morris questionnaire, SPID, the clinical global impression (CGI), and a study of patient diary data.

RESULTS

A decrease in pain severity was noted according to the VAS scale, signs of an improvement in functional status were revealed according to the Roland—Morris questionnaire, and high treatment efficacy was revealed according to the patient and doctor according to the CGI questionnaire.

CONCLUSION

The use of Nise and Tolperisone in patients with LBP is effective and safe.
