OBJECTIVE

To study the efficacy and safety of the neurouridin dietary supplement in patients with back pain.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

The study included 3179 patients with low back pain. Patients were randomized into the main group and the comparison group who did not receive neurouridin. The Visual Analogue scale (VAS), the Roland-Morris Questionnaire (RMQ) and The Clinical Global Impression (CGI) scale were used.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSION

A positive effect of treatment on VAS scores and a greater degree of decrease in the intensity of pain was observed in the main group compared with the comparison group. Signs of improved functional status according to RMQ and CGI are shown.
