Abstract:

Key mechanisms of the development of cerebral blood circulation insufficiency are presented. The following initial patterns are analyzed: primary cytokine response, endothelial dysfunction and functioning of neurovascular units. Current conceptions on the development of pathological apoptosis and neuroplasticity are considered.
