The objective of the present study was to detect accessory ostia in the patients presenting with various diseases of the maxillary sinuses. We undertook the endoscopic examination of the middle meatuses in 250 patients. It was shown thataccessory ostia can be especially frequently seen in the patients with chronic maxillary sinusitis and nasal septum deviation.
