Sixty-two patients with purulent tuboovarian masses complicated by pelviperitonitis were examined and treated to evaluate psychoemotional features, general adaptive capacities, and quality of life. All the patients underwent surgical treatment - bilateral adnexectomy. A study group comprised 32 patients who received perioperative combination treatment with antibiotics and disinfectants, which involved quantum therapy in the early postoperative period. A control group included 30 patients who had received the similar combination treatment without quantum therapy in the early postoperative period. The patients with complicated purulent tuboovarian masses were found to have considerable early postoperative impairments in psychoemotional status and adaptive capacities despite drug treatment. Quantum therapy used in these patients contributes to psychoemotional state normalization and enhances the body's adaptive capacities, resulting in their better quality of life.
