The present study was designed to analyse the results of dental implantation (n = 6) and sinus lifting in the patient exhibiting the early signs of blood pressure and having the history of acute pyelonephritis more than 10 years ago. In the early postoperative period, the patient experienced severe deterioration of the somatic status that was regarded as chronic pyelonephritis based on the results of the relevant diagnostic procedures. It is concluded that the early identification, correct diagnosis, and timely prescription of the effective treatment are of primary importance for the maximally possible preservation of adequate osteointegration.
