Abstract:

The article presents a short literature review regarding the osteoma of paranasal sinuses. Clinical follow-up is described for the complicated osteoma of the frontal sinus and the ethmoidal labyrinth cells. Two years ago the male patient N., 17 y.o., was followed in the outpatient setting due to the huge osteoma of the frontal sinus blocking the frontonasal junction. Orbital complications and secondary sinusitis developed in the patient due to the absence of timely surgical treatment. The patient underwent excision of the frontoethmoidal osteoma with the combined surgical approach.
