Accurate preoperative diagnosis of the fungal body of the paranasal sinuses is important for the choice of treatment tactics and planning of a particular operation volume.

THE PURPOSE

To Summarize the literature data on the features of the diagnosis of fungal body using visualizing methods.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

The review used data provided by the scientific base PubMed. In total, more than 200 scientific publications were analyzed, of which 50 articles, most reflecting the topic of a literary review, were included in the list of references.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSION

The main features of the visualizing diagnosis of the fungal body are analyzed, and the “red flags” of the fungal body depending on localization are also presented.
