In order to achieve the «Preservation of population, improvement of health and well-being of people, support of family and well-being of people» national objective, the key principle of protecting citizens’ health, namely ensuring availability and quality of free medical care for all residents regardless of social status, material wealth and place of residence, should be strictly observed. One of the ways of improving the availability and quality of medical care is to use mobile forms of work related to direct health care delivery, including mobile medical teams equipped with mobile medical units.
OBJECTIVE
To study modern mobile forms of work in the provision of primary health care to the population of the Russian Federation.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
An analysis of scientific publications, normative legal acts and other materials published in the period from 2013 to 2024, available in electronic citation databases and related to the organization and material and technical equipment of mobile forms of medical care delivery in the Russian Federation was carried out. The search was performed by the following keywords: «mobile forms of work in healthcare», «mobile forms of medical care delivery», «mobile medical teams», «mobile medical units». Methods of content analysis, analytical generalization, analogies, formalization were used.
RESULTS
It has been shown that mobile forms of work in healthcare are a promising organizational technology. Activity of mobile medical teams depends on their material and technical equipment.
CONCLUSION
The use of mobile forms of work in healthcare has the potential to increase the availability and quality of medical care, thereby improving the general health status of citizens. At the same time, application of mobile forms of medical care delivery should be carried out using modern medical and non-medical equipment, including means of communication and vehicles, that is particularly relevant when organizing medical care delivery in hard-to-reach and sparsely populated areas of the Russian Federation.
