Prevention is one of the priorities of healthcare provision for citizens. This direction is carried out by the structures of medical prevention, including offices and departments of medical prevention, health centers. The implementation of tasks is achieved, in particular, through sufficient personnel of structures and its training level.

OBJECTIVE

To assess the resources of medical prevention structures, including the offices and departments of medical prevention, health centers, and to develop proposals for changes in the activity’s regulatory control of these structures.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

The analysis of the resources of medical prevention structures, including reports for 2022 yr., has been conducted.

RESULTS

The obtained results show that the coverage of offices and medical prevention departments by physicians is 70% and higher in 41 regions, and health centers — in 38 regions. More than 70% of physicians of offices and medical prevention departments in 31 regions and health centers in 32 constituent entities of the Russian Federation have not received training in preventing chronic non-communicable diseases and promoting a healthy lifestyle over the last 5 years according to the questionnaire data.

CONCLUSION

The proposals on the development of preventive healthcare with the participation of medical personnel from offices and medical prevention departments, as well as from health centers have been formulated.
