Currently, the role of mobile medical teams equipped with mobile medical units is increasing: medical check-up of citizens on the job or study location will be conducted by mobile medical teams in addition to primary care delivery to citizens living in rural, remote and hard-to-reach areas of the Russian Federation. The introduction of mobile form of work as part of the national healthcare strategy implementation is aimed at increasing access to medical care, improving public health and creating conditions for saving of material resources.
OBJECTIVE
To study the contribution of mobile medical teams to carrying out preventive medical examinations and medical check-up of certain groups of adults in the Russian Federation.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
The data of industrial statistical observation form No. 131/o «Information on carrying out preventive medical examination and medical check-up of certain groups of adults» for 2013—2023 were used. Statistical and analytical methods were applied.
RESULTS
The regions with consistently low and consistently high indicators of contribution of mobile medical teams to carrying out preventive medical examinations and medical check-up were revealed. The mean 50% of the data included 25 regions, which remained in the second and third quartile intervals in 2019 and 2023 years of observation. In general, there has been an increase in the contribution of mobile medical teams to preventive medical examinations and medical check-up in the Russian Federation and the federal districts with the exception of the Siberian Federal District.

Despite the fact that the contribution is presently insufficient, this form of work is very promising and in-demand both in terms of medical care delivery in rural, remote and hard-to-reach areas and in enterprises and educational establishments.
