Abstract:

Young people with recurrent herpetic stomatitis were identified in the workplace during the examination. The patient’s condition is aggravated by asthma.

THE PURPOZE OF THE STUDY

To analyze the effectiveness of therapy for recurrent herpetic stomatitis in young people with asthma.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

To preserve and strengthen the health of young people with recurrent herpetic stomatitis, 97 patients aged 25 to 32 years was carried out immunomodulator therapy. Before and after the treatment, the immune status of young people was assessed: local immunity of the oral cavity (secretory immunoglobulin SIgA concentration), as well as markers of cellular and humoral immunity (IgA, IgG, IgE).

RESULTS

The results obtained proved the clinical efficacy of the immunomodulatory agent. The drug prolonged the remission (p<0.001) of recurrent herpetic stomatitis and reduced clinical manifestations of concomitant disease bronchial asthma.

CONCLUSION

Clinical studies showed the effectiveness of the immunomodulator in the treatment of recurrent herpetic stomatitis in young people with bronchial asthma.
