The objective of this review is to analyze the current experience of using gamification as a method of preventing obesity in children. The review is based on the data analysis from the Scopus, WoS, and Wiley Online Library databases for 2017—2022. The problems of reducing the burden of obesity among children and adolescents and preventing complications and disability are addressed. Current methods and possibilities of medical rehabilitation using IT technologies and gamification are presented. The analyzed data indicate that these methods are widely implemented in the adult population; however, the data on their effectiveness in children and adolescents are scarce.
