One of the most important duties of primary health care settings is to early detecting malignant neoplasms based on population screening. To date, there is sufficient international experience and scientific evidences for the adaptation and implementation of appropriate diagnostic methods to detect this pathology at the country level, including the Russian Federation. In 2019, such measures have already begun to be implemented in Russia as a part of preventive medical and screening examination, after the publication and harmonization of regulatory legal acts in the field of healthcare were issued.
