Abstract:

Melanoma primary and secondary prevention is becoming increasingly important in Russia due to the disease increasing incidence. The review considers current approaches to primary prevention, including large-scale state prevention programs. The principles of secondary prophylaxis of skin melanoma are discussed in detail, including the criteria for selecting patients for the dynamic monitoring program, the technologies used, the special aspects and problems of conducting monitoring examinations and self-examination of the skin.
