The article presents a clinical case of successful application of the complex compression hemostasis technique in combination with balloon tamponade of the vagina with a vaginal Zhukovsky catheter when performing organ-preserving surgery in a 37-year-old patient with full presentation and placenta accretion with a scar on the uterus after a previous cesarean section operation. During the present pregnancy, ultrasound examination at the time of 19 weeks diagnosed complete placenta previa, suspected placenta accreta, confirmed at the time of 33 weeks. At 35 weeks of pregnancy, the pregnant woman was hospitalized in a group 3 hospital and delivered prematurely by bottom Caesarean section with metroplasty using the complex compression hemostasis technique in combination with balloon tamponade of the vagina with a Zhukovsky vaginal catheter under conditions of hardware reinfusion of blood. This technique has been successfully applied in the obstetric clinic of the Gorodkov Ivanovo Research Institute of Motherhood and Childhood of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in 12 patients with placenta accretion, showing its simplicity, efficiency and safety in organ-preserving operations in women with placenta accretion.
