Abstract:

ABSTRACT The study is intended to define clinical and epidemiological features of females’ infertility in the region with low population density. Material and methods. 10 634 females aged 19—42 which claimed about their infertility from 1 January 2005 up to 31 December, 2016 underwent a one-centred retrospective test. The females were divided into two groups according to their residence. The first group included 9262 (87.1%) of urban residents. The second one consisted of 1372 (12.9%) rural dwellers. Results. The phenomenon of infertility was studied both after the first visit of females and after full check-up. The reasons for reproductive disorders according to the residence were surveyed. Benchmark analysis of gynecological pathology and extra genital diseases was carried out. Efficiency of infertility treatment was evaluated. During treatment with vegetative resonance, testing positive and negative predictors of pregnancy occurrence were revealed. It was stated that rural residents had less opportunity for timely qualified help in diagnostics and treatment of infertility. Conclusion. The article reveals the regularities of the clinical and epidemiological causes of infertility that help to optimize the diagnostics, treatment and prevention of disease.
