Abstract:

Objective — to perform a comparative analysis of the accents of profiling the expression of molecular immunohistochemical markers in eutopic and ectopic endometrium in endometriosis with respect to the control group, endometrial hyperplasia without atypical and with atypical, endometrial adenocarcinoma. Material and methods. The expression of Ki-67, MVD, VIPD, VEGF-A, VEGFR1, Cox-1 and Cox-2 was studied in eutopic end ectopic endometrium in women with endometriosis. Immunohistochemical data were compared in women with endometriosis and the control group, hyperplasia without atypical and with atypical, endometrial adenocarcinoma. Results. The absence of signs of tumor angiogenesis in eutopic and ectopic endometrium in endometriosis significantly reduces the risk of developing atypical changes. At the same time, the problem of malignancy in endometriosis has two directions: ovarian cancer and ovarian cancer combined with endometriosis and cancer due to endometriosis. Endometriosis-associated ovarian cancer remains the main research area in the studies of the cause of ovarian cancer, which also applies to out-of-community ovarian tumors in endometriosis. Conclusion. Direct convincing data on malignancy have not been obtained in patients with endometriosis in the eutopic and ectopic endometrium, however, a proliferative index, microvessel density, VIP density, VEGF and COX expression may indicate at a risk of atypical development and can be used in clinical practice.
