Objectives — to systematize and present the most important current data on the early processes of neoangiogenesis and angiogenesis in the endometrium to nidation and after it and in the process of formation and functioning of the trophoblast and placenta. Material and methods. Database PubMed was searched using realincest key words to identify studies on the role of endometrial blood vessels in the formation of the trophoblast and placenta. Results. The literature data and the cycle of their own research on the role of endometrial blood vessels in the formation of the trophoblast and placenta indicates the presence of cause-effect relationships of balanced processes in the phenotypic-dependent functions of pregnancy and the lack thereof, when it is not offensive. The beginning of various events in the endometrium due to: the state of the endometrium to nidation, conversion of vessels in the uterus after nidation, formation of trophoblast and placenta, the condition of the vessels of the placenta. All these processes are based on biochemical cascades and changes of angiogenesis and associated regulatory systems. Conclusion. The use of data on the role of angiogenesis in the endometrium in the formation of the trophoblast and placenta indicate that the blood vessels of the endometrium are the triggers of the onset and maintenance of pregnancy.
