Objective: to evaluate the role of inherited and acquired trombophilia in assisted reproductive technologies (ART) outcomes. Material and methods. The study included 94 patients with a history of two or more IVF failures. 50 patients conceived after first IVF attempt and 30 women had spontaneous pregnancy. The tests for inherited and acquired trombophilia were performed. Results. The pattern of inherited thrombophilia in patients with IVF failures was defined. Inherited and acquired trombophilia shown to play a significant role in ART outcomes. Conclusion. The patients with a history of two or more IVF failures are characterized by high frequency of inherited and acquired trombophilia. Combination of tree or more gene polimorfisms is more frequent in such patients. The 4G/5G polymorphism in the PAI-1 promoter was shown to be associated with early reproductive failures.
