Abstract:

Women with carbohydrate metabolism dysfunction have some unique features of climacteric syndrome in comparison with healthy women. Patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) type 1 have menopause at 46-48 years. This randomized trial showed that DM is not a contraindication for hormone therapy. However, such therapy for women with DM type 1 should be done with special consideration.
