OBJECTIVE

To study the effect of hemostatic net on microcirculation in skin-fatty flaps in early postoperative period after anti-aging face and neck surgery.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

We examined 40 patients aged 40-65 (mean 53.6±4.1) using Doppler flowmetry. The control group consisted of 20 patients without hemostatic net at the final stage of surgical correction of soft tissue atrophy of the face and neck. The study group included 20 patients with hemostatic net application throughout the entire area of skin-fatty flap mobilization. In both groups, measurements were carried out at the preoperative stage, after 1, 3, 7 and 30 postoperative days. Measurements using appropriate equipment were performed in accordance with the guidelines of the LAZMA company.

RESULTS

According to laser Doppler flowmetry data, microcirculation in skin-fatty flaps increased in accordance with stages of neoangiogenesis in early postoperative period after surgical correction of soft tissue atrophy of the face and neck. Similar microcirculation in both groups at each stage of rehabilitation indicates safety of technique and no risks of trophic disorders associated with this approach.

CONCLUSION

We can confidently talk about no negative impact of hemostatic net technique on microvasculature function in postoperative period.
