Abstract:

Objective. To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of combined therapy of skin hyperpigmentation with neodymium laser (1064 nm) and topical agent containing glycolic acid, licorice root and ascorbic acid. Material and methods. The data on the main etiological factors of various hyperpigmentations and modern correction methods are reported in the article. The results of topical management with the agents containing glycolic acid, ascorbic acid and licorice root as monotherapy and in combination with laser therapy (1064 nm) in patients with various hyperpigmentations including melasma and lentigo are presented. Conclusion. Comparative analysis of the above-mentioned methods confirmed their high efficiency and safety.
