The paper presents materials about the life activities of Professor Ya.M. Bruskin, a topographic anatomist, surgeon, oncologist, who was the author of the first Russian textbook «Clinical and Topographic Anatomy». Unfortunately, his name has been undeservedly forgotten in recent years; however, experts are familiar with his monographs on blood transfusion, x-ray diagnosis, and oncology.
