The dry-lab and wet-lab simulation training of students and their participation in surgical Olympiads should be started in junior years. This will allow students to optimally adapt to new methods of teaching clinical disciplines, will provide an opportunity to master practical skills without harm to patients, and will train physicians to work in inpatient and outpatient settings or to render care at a patient’s at home.
