Abstract:

The paper presents world data on the incidence rates of perforation in gastric cancer. It considers the impact of morphological features of the tumor and its localization in the stomach on the development of this menacing complication. Diagnostic methods for perforated gastric cancer are given. Current views on surgical tactics for gastric cancer complicated by perforation and the results of surgical treatment of this group of patients are shown.
