Abstract:

Primary squamous cell carcinoma is one of the rarest morphological varieties of gastric tumors and, according to the literature, is found in 0.04—0.07% of cases. The standards of treatment for this pathology have not been developed; the prognosis is poor. The paper describes a rare clinical case of diagnosis and surgical treatment of gastric squamous cell carcinoma.
