Abstract:

Urachal cancer is a relatively rare malignancy. According to the data available in the literature, the detection rate of urachal cancer is 0.35—0.7% of all cases of bladder cancer and only 0.01% of its all malignancies. Surgery is a basic therapy option for this patient contingent. The paper reviews the literature, by covering the present-day ideas on this carcinoma, and describes a clinical case of urachal cancer in a patient who has successfully undergone surgical treatment.
