Lung cancer is a widespread group of tumor lesions among patients with cancer. Late diagnosis and, consequently, the low success of treatment and high mortality rate make this disease a global medical and social issue. This necessitates the development and implementation of accurate and reliable methods for its detection and treatment. Due to the ongoing search for minimally invasive diagnostic methods in oncology, non-coding RNA molecules within exosomes have recently been identified as potential biomarkers for the effective verification and prediction of lung tumor lesions. This review aims to analyze the available literature data on the role of these exosomal non-coding RNAs in lung tumor carcinogenesis, as well as their potential use for minimally invasive diagnosis and prognosis of lung cancer. The review was compiled by searching for relevant information in PubMed, eLibrary, and Google Scholar databases.
