Familial localized scleroderma (LS) is rare, but its incidence is steadily increasing. Combination of LS and granuloma annulare (GA) is rare. We discuss a clinical case of a family LS with typical features of hereditary scleroderma combined with GA in a child. Among the features of this condition, we noted an early onset after an infectious disease, a superficially spreading process without affecting hair follicles, generalized rashes of various shapes and types, a prolonged torpid course, resistance to treatment, concomitant joint disorders and neurological changes, a family history of scleroderma. The patient had skin rashes typical for scleroderma and GA, his father had scleroderma, and his younger brother had GA. In all patients, dermatoses occurred after an infectious disease. A multifocal skin biopsy was performed for the differential diagnosis of dermatoses, and the histological signs of LS and GA were observed. Thus, the patient had a transnosological comorbidity due to impaired microcirculation in the skin. The presented case of familial LS confirms the role of hereditary predisposition in the pathogenesis of dermatosis. The combination of focal scleroderma and GA may indicate similar pathogenetic factors associated with skin microcirculation disorders in these diseases.
