Improvement of topical treatments of acne is an important medical and social problem. The requirements of both doctors and patients to aesthetic results, safety, and efficacy of treatment have been increased. Objective. The study was aimed at evaluating the efficacy and tolerability of TriAcnéal EXPERT AVENE dermatic in adult female patients suffering from acne. The drug was used either as monotherapy or as maintenance treatment. Material and methods. The study included 220 adult females with various forms of acne. The age of participants averaged 21 years, age of rash onset — 14.5 years. The severity of skin disease assessed on the GEA scale was ≤ 3 (mild to moderate). All patients were advised to apply TriAcnéal EXPERT as a first line therapy or maintenance therapy after previous drug treatment. The severity of acne was evaluated using clinical scale GEA. Simplified scale was used to assess post-acne scars and the quality of life of patients based on CADI (Cardiff Acne Disability Index). This product was used topically on the face once per day in the evening. The total course of treatment was 2—3 months depending on the severity of skin disease process. Results. Application of TriAcnéal EXPERT emulsion for 8—12 weeks either as monotherapy or as maintenance treatment reduces the incidence of post-inflammatory changes and the severity of skin defects.
