Brief data on clinical manifestations of atopic dermatitis (AtD), provoking factors and strategy for managing patients with this disease are reported. The current advance in topical therapy of AtD using innovative Atoderm Preventive Nourishing cream and Atoderm Intensive Soothing cream is discussed in detail. The results of an international prospective clinical trials and authors' own data on using these products in patients with AtD. The use of Atoderm skin care products to treat patients with AtD allows one to achieve significant regression of the main disease manifestations (itching), to reduce the duration of using topical steroids, and to significantly improve skin status during the inter-relapse periods.
