The relevance of the patient management issue is substantiated by the lack of consensus on the mechanisms of psoriasis pathogenesis, a relative increase in its incidence, and the long-term chronic course of the disease, resulting in significant reduction in patients' quality of life. Material and methods. A total of 140 patients with psoriasis of moderate to severe degree (81 men and 59 women) were included in our study. The patients in the study group were given intramuscular injections of 0.1% Thymodepressin solution (1 mL daily for 7 days). After a two-day break the course was repeated. After another two-day break, intranasal administration of Thymodepressin was prescribed (1-2 doses once daily in each nostril for 7 days). Patients in the comparison group received conventional treatment according to the standards of medical care for patients with psoriasis. Results and Conclusions. The results of Thymodepressin treatment were found to be positive for 100% of patients in the study group. In the comparison group, similar results were observed for 82.9% of patients, while for 17.1% of patients the treatment results were found to be unsatisfactory.
